I think the topic of this slideshow holds extremely true. As a senior, I feel like nearly everyone from every class since I’ve been at the high school, including my class applied to OSU just because of its convinient location and good academics. I found it very interesting however, to hear that 66-100 students from each class go there and that 26.4% of the 2011 class went there. That is a rather high percentage. I also was interested in hearing about the transition from high school to college as I will be making that transition next year.

I felt that presenting the perspectives of both college and high school students was a great idea, and the juxtaposition of UAHS and OSU pictures really brought out the contrast between the two and made the slideshow interesting to watch. As a senior, soon-to-be college student, I found a lot of the information about college dorms, classes, and study habits very useful even though I’m not going to OSU. Thanks for a great and relevant slideshow!

I think it is a good idea, its good for leaving seniors. You had good voiceovers. I think there was to much interviews, i think it needs more voiceovers and more of a story within the slideshow. Nicely put and it only needs some work. Other than that good!!

The story is a old one, but can always be viewed in a different way. I thought it was interesting to hear about college life from UAHS graduates as I myself approach graduation. I think the story was covered well, although i think that it shouldn’t have been only OSU students covered.

I really liked this slideshow a lot! I feel like as a junior, I’m at the point where I have to start thinking about colleges and where I would like to attend. This slideshow helped show me some of the benefits that OSU has to offer, like the open socialization in the dorms, the various books available in the library, and the freedom that it gives you, with the benefit of still being close to home. I couldn’t believe all of the people that want to attend there! Freshman are even thinking about it! Wow, that really surprised me that they have that goal in mind this early in their high school careers!

I really enjoyed this slide show, being a junior at UAHS i could really relate to the students being asked if they are going to be a future buckeye. Looking for colleges currently, OSU is a big subject for me. But you had great coverage of the story, especially how you were talking to students that already took the step!

This slideshow was very well done and the sound was very well balanced. The statistics at the beginning was also interesting because I learned something new and I didn’t know that 66-100 people every year go to OSU. The transitions were nice and I didn’t feel that it was too choppy. Well done!

I really liked this slideshow! You had a lot of information, such as the statistics at the beginning and a lot of interviews from OSU students and UAHS students and it all flowed together nicely! I also loved your transitions because they went right with the interviews and voiceovers! Great job!

I liked this slideshow a lot, especially the quality of your interviews. Also, the O-H-I-O with students at the end was really creative.

I think you picked an interesting topic, though you were limited by the inability to interview students who did not move on to OSU, going out of state. This will help to answer a lot of questions for us Juniors and rising 9th, 10th graders about college life, for people just like us, who went to class with us. I have to mention that your photos didn’t always match the content, but your voiceovers shaped the story well. Props to you for choosing such an interesting topic.
