Committee proposes new schedule for school week

Instead of holding eight classes each day, a new schedule created by the Schedule Review Committee proposes a modified A/B block schedule at UAHS starting in the 2010-11 school year.
The proposed schedule is outlined below:

- For a two-day week, the schedule would follow a Tuesday and Wednesday schedule.
- For a three-day week, the schedule would follow the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday schedule.
- For a four-day week, the schedule would follow a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule.
Time will tell whether or not this schedule is approved by the faculty and school board.

I really dont think the schedule will work at the high school. in some classes it would be benefical, such as theatre and science. However this schedule wouldn’t work with math classes and history because you can only teach so much on some subject before it become repetitive
