The fire alarm went off today on Oct. 5 during extended third period while Kickin’ It Live! played. Students walked out to the designated parking spot for their respective classes but soon returned to school after receiving a Remind message from the school saying a young child pulled the fire alarm.
According to Principal Andrew Theado, administration knew almost immediately that a young child had pulled the fire alarm and contacted the alarm company to indicate there was no real threat of fire. Theado said a representative from the UA Fire Department was sent to the high school and was updated on the situation.
Theado said there will still be an October fire drill.
