Signing and Distributing “The Worry-Free Bear”

On Oct. 10, the Short family held a book signing on their front lawn for “The Worry-Free Bear,” a book written by fifth-grader Tess Short about a young girl diagnosed with cancer. Tess Short’s family, friends and neighbors attended the event. Her older brother Sam Short who was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor called spinal ependymoma at 12-years-old and who the book is based on, also signed books at the event.
