This year’s staff, which includes main anchors Alyssa Robeson, Maggie Fitz, Kevin Murray, and Gabrielle Whitcomb, has one production team and two on-camera rotations that will switch from week-to-week.

Senior Nathan Murray, selected as producer of this year’s show, said that by working with one another over the past two years and traveling to New York City on a class trip last spring, the cast has developed a chemistry that will set them apart from staffs in previous years.

“Everyone is just really happy to work with one another and everyone contributes evenly,” Murray said.

Murray also said the staff is working alongside viewers to better understand what improvements they would like to see in the upcoming year.

“We’re all collaborating and thinking of ideas of how to make this year the best it can be,” Murray said. “But what we are really focused on doing right now is getting feedback from the student body.“

The first episode of Kickin’ It Live will premiere on Friday, Aug. 31 during the first nine minutes of the extended third period class.
