The administration for the UA school district, including the superintendent, has changed over the past summer. The school district will carry on with an almost entirely-new administration.

Paul Imhoff was hired into the position of superintendent, after being superintendent at Mariemont City Schools in suburban Cincinnati and other administrative positions in Ohio. He succeeds Dr. Jeffrey Weaver’s seven years as superintendent. In a recent news article on the UA schools website, Imhoff discusses his plans for his new job.

“I’m looking forward to exploring innovative ways we can continue collaborating within the district and throughout the community to assure our students are prepared for their future as global citizens,” said Imhoff.  “My experience as an administrator for the past 15 years and my ability to make the tough financial, educational, and operational decisions, will be crucial in moving the district forward to serve the diverse needs of all students.”

Emilie Greenwald, previous principal of UAHS, is currently the Chief Academic Officer. She succeeds Dr. Binkley’s position as associate superintendent.

Ryan McClure will take the place of Emilie Greenwald as UAHS’ principal and joined the district on Aug. 1. He was recently at Darby High School in Hilliard City Schools.

Kathleen Jenney will join the staff as Executive Director for Personnel Services. After six years as superintendent of Galion, Ohio City Schools she joined the UA schools staff on July 1.

Karen Truett is the new Director of Communications after Dan Donovan stepped down. Truett was Director of Communications at Olentangy.
