Katherine Dominek has lived in Upper Arlington her whole life, growing up in her neighbors’ and grandparents’ backyards collecting cicada shells and pinecones. Katherine attended Barrington Elementary and Jones Middle School, where she first began reading the Columbus Dispatch and catching up on seasons of Dateline NBC. Katherine joined the Arlingtonian staff her junior year, serving as news editor. Now in her senior year, she serves as managing editor. Outside of the newsroom, Katherine squeaks on the violin, “lights up” the stage in UACT and UAVM productions and adores her melodramatic hamster Buffy.
